If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact us. Q: I am an IT manager. Is this training product a good investment for my department? A: Definitely the most cost-efficient way to get your staff up-to-date with SQL Server 2000 administration, design and programming. Q: I am looking to get into IT. Can I get a DBA job after mastering the CD-ROM course? A: Probably but no guarantee. It is also advisable that you pass Microsoft 70-028 and/or 70-228 certification exams. Q: How much are SQL 2000 administrators earning? A: The range is $40,000 to 150,000 annual salary. It is easier to get a job at the lower end of the range, harder on the top. Q: Do I have to purchase SQL Server 2000 to help with the study? A: No. The SQL 20000 CD-ROM based course has full-motion screen images including mouse movements. It is just like the "real" thing. However, if you can afford it, it is advisable to get a copy of SQL Server 2000. Frequently available free for a limited time trial. Q: How do I learn everything on the 21 CD-ROMs? A: Basically you repeat each unit until you know it by heart. After each viewing you attempt to recreate the database scripts in a Notepad window or on a piece of paper. Q: Can I learn everything in 21 days? A: Yes
if you are doing it full-time. Q: Can I play the CD-ROMs in my car? A: No,
because it is a multimedia CD-ROM with menu. However you can play it
on a laptop and listen to it while driving. Q: How many times do I have to play a unit? A:As many times
as you need it. Sometimes for someone 3 times maybe sufficient, other
times to someone else 10 times maybe necessary. A: Yes, you can pause it anytime for note taking or practice.
